Stop Fighting Your Systems. Start Integrating Them.

InnovaTech Group connects the enterprise systems you already run, builds the software you cannot buy, and turns both into products through an internal venture studio.

What InnovaTech Group does

InnovaTech Group is an enterprise technology company in Cape Town, South Africa. We do three things: we integrate the systems an organisation already runs into one event-driven architecture, we build bespoke software where no off-the-shelf product fits, and we run an internal venture studio that turns that engineering capability into commercial SaaS products.

The problem we are hired to solve

Most mid-to-large organisations do not have a technology shortage. They have a connection shortage. Finance runs one system, operations another, the customer-facing team a third, and the numbers in each disagree by the time they reach a board pack. Data moves between them by export, by email attachment, by a person retyping it, or by a nightly batch job written by someone who left four years ago.

The cost of that shows up in three places. Staff spend hours a week on reconciliation that produces no new information. Decisions get made on figures that are a day or a week stale. And every new system the business buys makes the problem worse, because it arrives with its own database and no obligation to talk to anything else.

Rebuilding everything is not the answer, and neither is another point-to-point script. The answer is an integration layer: a deliberate architecture where systems publish what happens to them, subscribe to what they need, and stop depending on each other's internals. That is the work we do first with almost every client, because the rest of the roadmap gets cheaper once it exists.

Three ways we work with enterprises

Integration & Orchestration

Replace brittle point-to-point links and ageing middleware with event-driven architecture on Apache Kafka, and orchestrate business processes across systems with iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft and Workato.

Explore integration

SaaS Venture Studio

We build and operate our own software products — community directories, a WhatsApp Business messaging platform, a bulk email platform — and the integration capability behind them is what makes each one enterprise-ready on day one.

Bespoke Custom Engineering

Cloud-native applications built on microservices and serverless architecture, with security, compliance and handover planned from the first sprint rather than retrofitted before go-live.

The Global Delivery Model

We deliver with a localised strategy and enterprise architecture leadership close to the client, supported by hybrid engineering hubs that carry the build. In practice that means the people who own the architecture, the data model and the commercial relationship work in your timezone and understand your regulatory environment, while implementation scales up and down without you carrying a permanent headcount you do not need between projects.

For South African clients that means POPIA-aware design, local invoicing in Rands, and an architecture lead you can meet. For international clients it means the same engineering bench at a delivery cost that a comparable onshore team cannot match, with an architecture lead who works your hours rather than sending updates overnight.

How we start

Every engagement begins with an architecture review rather than a proposal. We map the systems that exist, the data that moves between them and the manual work that fills the gaps, and we hand back a diagram, a list of the integration points that carry the most cost, and a sequenced plan. That review stands on its own — it is useful whether or not you continue with us, and it is deliberately short enough to fit inside a normal procurement cycle.

Why the venture studio matters to an enterprise buyer

Most integration firms have never had to live with their own architecture. We have. The products in our venture studio run on the same event-driven patterns, the same deployment pipeline and the same security posture we propose to clients, and we carry the operational cost when we get it wrong.

That has two consequences worth caring about. The patterns we recommend are the ones we run in production, not the ones that read well in a slide. And when an integration touches messaging, billing, directories or bulk communication, there is a good chance we have already built and operated that component rather than reading its API documentation for the first time on your project.

Common questions

What does InnovaTech Group actually do?
We do three things. We integrate enterprise systems — connecting ERP, CRM, finance and operational platforms through event-driven architecture and iPaaS orchestration. We build bespoke software where no off-the-shelf product fits. And we run an internal venture studio that develops and operates our own SaaS products. The first is the largest part of the business and the one most engagements start with.
Do you work with enterprises outside South Africa?
Yes. Our Global Delivery Model pairs enterprise architecture leadership in the client's timezone with hybrid engineering hubs that carry the build. South African clients get POPIA-aware design and local invoicing in Rands; international clients get the same engineering bench at a delivery cost onshore teams struggle to match.
How does an engagement start?
With an architecture review, not a proposal. We map your systems, the data moving between them and the manual work filling the gaps, then hand back a diagram, the integration points carrying the most cost, and a sequenced plan. The review is useful on its own, and it is short enough to fit a normal procurement cycle.
Are you still a hosting and IT support provider?
Web hosting, domains and SME IT support continue under our Yamahost brand and through the INNOVATECH™ Managed Services memberships, which existing clients manage in the client portal. The InnovaTech Group enterprise practice is integration, custom engineering and the venture studio.
